Questions about our training videos
Are these real Off Leash K9 Birmingham clients?
Yes. Every dog in these videos trained at our facility at 241 Commerce Pkwy, Pelham, AL 35124. The "before" footage is filmed at the owner's consultation or on day one, and the "after" footage is filmed at the end of the program with the same dog.
How long does it take to get results like these?
Most dogs in these videos completed our 2-Week Board & Train. Dogs on private or in-home programs typically reach the same standard over 4 weeks of weekly lessons plus owner practice between sessions. See our Birmingham cost guide for the programs and what each one includes.
Do you have a video of a dog like mine?
Almost certainly. Can you show me a dog that was aggressive, not just untrained?
Yes — Mason & Myrna and Bailey above are both genuine aggression cases, including a dog with a bite history. Aggression and reactivity are handled through our aggression program, which starts with an in-person evaluation rather than an online booking.
What equipment is the dog wearing in the videos?
A properly fitted e-collar and a training leash, both included in the program price. The e-collar is used as a communication tool at the lowest level the dog perceives, and every owner is taught to use it before the dog goes home. Our Board & Train page explains the method in full.
Lifetime support is included with qualifying programs for the life of the dog, for the original owner, and assumes the dog is kept on the trained protocols. Individual results vary by dog, age, history and owner follow-through. See our Terms & Conditions.
